PNG Cyber, LLC is pleased to announce that Ms. Edith Santos has joined the firm as Director of Digital Forensic Incident Response (DFIR). Edith is an accomplished cyber forensic professional and skilled incident response (DFIR) team leader, with broad experience in digital forensic investigations, specializing in incident response, security assessments, forensic litigation, and investigative services.
Edith has over 30 years of experience in digital forensics and law enforcement. She has extensive experience protecting organizations and the public from the consequences of cyberattacks. For the past 10 years, she has assisted clients with numerous matters related to ransomware attacks, business email compromises, cyber espionage, compromise or theft of statutorily protected information and intellectual property, mobile device forensics, and threat actor communications. and more.
Edith has designed, facilitated, and led numerous technical and executive-level Tabletop Exercises for clients worldwide to enhance cyber risk readiness. She has also delivered DFIR training programs across the U.S. and LATAM markets. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, leading financial institutions, and companies across the energy, retail, hospitality, banking, government, and telecommunications industries.
Edith also held key leadership roles at a leading multinational investment bank and a global technology innovation company. Additionally, Edith worked for nearly two decades in law enforcement, where her passion for investigating cybercrimes first emerged.
